Broncos at Cardinals Preview: Denver Favored by 4.5 in Arizona (2:05 PM MT, CBS)
The Denver Broncos (4-2) visit the Arizona Cardinals (2-4) today at State Farm Stadium. Kickoff is 2:05 PM MT on CBS. ESPN's DraftKings line has Denver favored by 4.5, with a total of 42.5.
Our Take: This is a game a good team wins on the road, period. Arizona will be without leading rusher Jeremiyah Love and is banged up in the secondary. Denver's pass rush should live in Jacoby Brissett's lap. The one thing to watch is Pat Surtain II's ankle. If he plays, the Broncos should handle this. If he doesn't, Trey McBride becomes a real problem.
WHO'S OUT: Denver ruled out S Talanoa Hufanga (ankle), LB Jonah Elliss (ankle) and RB Tyler Badie (thumb). CB Pat Surtain II (ankle) was limited in practice and is questionable, and RB Jonah Coleman (ankle) is questionable after full practices. Arizona ruled out RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle), G Jon Gaines II, DT Walter Nolen and S Andrew Wingard. QB Carson Beck (back), S Budda Baker (groin) and CB Max Melton (knee) are questionable.
KEYS TO THE GAME:
1. Bo Nix, steady and clean. He has 1,049 yards, 6 TDs and 3 INTs, per ESPN.
2. Pressure Brissett. He has 1,328 yards and 9 TDs but also 6 INTs. Zach Allen already has 4.5 sacks.
3. Contain Trey McBride. He leads Arizona with 361 receiving yards.
4. Lean on J.K. Dobbins (270 rushing yards) and keep the clock moving in a road game.
