Broncos Players Pack Gear for Colorado Kids as the Foundation Aims to Reach 17,000 Young Players

By , BroncosLand ·

Broncos Country, before we get back to fixing the offense, here's one that's easy to feel good about.

On Tuesday, Broncos players packed shipments of Good Sports equipment for three Colorado youth football organizations at Broncos Park, according to DenverBroncos.com. Kage Casey, Que Robinson, Frank Crum and Robert Garnes were among the players boxing up gear through the ALL IN. ALL COVERED. Statewide Youth Football Distribution Program.

The program is the Denver Broncos Foundation's five-year push, running 2026 through 2030, to knock down the cost of playing tackle and flag football. The Foundation pays registration fees for underserved kids through Every Kid Sports, while Good Sports supplies equipment. When it launched in June, the team said the program aims to serve more than 17,000 young players across Colorado, with a focus on kids ages 6 to 14. Good Sports lists what programs can get: helmets, shoulder pads, flag belts, footballs and training equipment.

Our Take: This is the stuff that builds the next generation of Broncos fans, and maybe a few future players too. Registration fees and a helmet can be the difference between a kid playing or watching. Good on the guys who showed up to pack boxes during the mini-bye after the Seattle win.

What to watch: Good Sports says eligible Colorado programs start with an interest form, and girls' participation is a factor in who gets support. If your kid's league qualifies, it's worth a look. Then it's back to business Sunday in Arizona.
