Thursday Night vs. the Seahawks Is Where the Broncos Prove the Last Month Was Real

Broncos Country, this is the one you've been waiting for. Thursday Night Football. Throwbacks. Defending Super Bowl champions walking into Mile High.

Our Take: Denver is 3-2 with three wins in the last four, and tonight is the measuring stick for whether this team can punch up without Pat Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga.

Per DenverBroncos.com, the Broncos have forced seven turnovers through five weeks, including three takeaways in the Week 5 comeback. Sean Payton noted they didn't have a three-takeaway game all of 2025. Seattle has turned it over eight times in the last three weeks, with five of those Sam Darnold interceptions. Bo Nix said Tuesday there will be "extra juice on both sides," and he's 7-2 in prime-time starts. Denver has won three straight Thursday night games and is chasing an 11th win in its last 12 against NFC teams.

The catch: Seattle's defense ranks first in total defense, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is eating half of Seattle's receiving yards, and Riley Moss is questionable behind an already shorthanded secondary. All three Broncos wins this year required a fourth-quarter rally, and Denver has scored 52 points in the fourth — second most in the NFL — while sitting 8-3 when trailing late since the start of 2025.

What to watch: ball security on every underneath throw, the secondary living without its two stars, and whether Nix can finish another nail-biter against a unit that just allowed 29.3 points per game over three weeks. Ride or die, Broncos Country.
